Our shed is an
incorporated Association and we have activities at the shed or garden
most days of the week.
There are four
activities in our shed and you are welcome to participate in any or all
of them.
The shed is a place
for social contact with like minded people. The morning crib and lunches
make the day an enjoyable event.
We also have a wood
fired pizza oven that regularly supplies members with lunch.
The
Men's Shed
The Men's shed is open
Mondays from 9:00am till 3:00pm bring some lunch and Thursdays 9:00am
till noon. (Please check with Peter Torenbeek
before attending.)
We build bird boxes
(parrot breeding), and sell these to help re-establish parrots in the
community and prevent Indian or Common Myna birds from stealing parrot nesting places.
See the Gallery page for the different types
of bird boxes we make.
We have designed and
built artists easels. See the Gallery for
details
The shed
incorporates both a metalwork shed and a woodwork shed with new and
donated equipment etc.
